Thousand and One Therapy

I’m a Registered Psychotherapist (RP) with over four years of experience supporting individuals and groups through anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, and life transitions.
My journey into psychotherapy began after working as an environmental engineer and later supporting refugees in settlement services. These experiences inspired my dedication to helping people heal, grow, and build resilience.
Whether you’re healing from the past, feeling overwhelmed in the present, or seeking deeper purpose, therapy can help you reconnect with your inner peace, strength, and clarity at a pace that feels safe and empowering.

Areas of Focus
I provide psychotherapy to adult individuals (18+) navigating a wide range of concerns, including:
Anxiety and overwhelm
Depression and low mood
Trauma and PTSD symptoms
Life transitions and changes
Grief and loss
Identity exploration
Three Core Layers of Exploration
In our work together, we may move through these interconnected layers:
1
Processing the Past
Gently uncover and work through past wounds or formative experiences that may still shape your present.
2
Experiencing the Present
Build awareness of thoughts, emotions, and bodily sensations. Learn tools for presence, regulation, and self-connection.
3
Reflecting on the Bigger Picture
Explore values, identity, and your connection to something greater, whatever that may be for you.
This process isn’t about “fixing” you. It’s about rediscovering your strength, reclaiming your voice, and creating space for authenticity and growth.
What modalities I use?
I integrate CBT with holistic health practices to help you build protective skills, while using IFS-inspired approaches to heal wounded parts of the self. Through existential therapy, we explore meaning and purpose in life, and mindfulness helps weave all of these insights together into daily living.
Scope and Limitations
As a Registered Psychotherapist, I work within the scope defined by the CRPO and provide psychotherapy services only. I do not offer medical or diagnostic services.
Please Note: Psychotherapy is a professional, collaborative process that may include emotional exploration, reflection, and the development of coping tools. While therapy can be meaningful and transformative, outcomes can vary, and it is not a substitute for emergency or crisis care.
If you're in immediate distress, please contact local emergency services or a crisis line in your area.
